To help conceal the brackets, the back of each piece will be routed, but the product itself is not pre-drilled for the corresponding hardware, unless you've purchased the upgraded bracket. You'll need to drill 1/2" holes into the back of the product to align with the bracket's location on the wall.

For instance, yellow pine tends to take on a more reddish hue, while white pine may appear brownish, though this isn't always the case.
